This association is a professional and scientific association for audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language and hearing scientists. There is a wealth of information for the public, professionals, students and teachers. The site has thorough information about assistive technology and a list of companies that specialize in assistive technology devices and software.

This web site is a news portal for assistive technology. There are free services, product reviews, market trends, downloads, workshops and more.

This is an information technology company that develops hardware and software for individuals with special needs and disabilities. They provide information services such as product search and referral, a newsletter and an AT links library.
I was unfamiliar with these websites previously. I have bookmarked them and intend to return to them or subscribe by newsletter or RSS to get information updates. I believe these will be helpful resources when I am a media specialist and collaborating with teachers.
